The Signal (German title Das Signal) is a four-part German science-fiction mystery thriller made for Netflix. The story opens as astronaut Paula returns to Earth after a research mission aboard the International Space Station, having hinted to her family that she made a mysterious discovery in orbit. When her flight home vanishes and she goes missing, the people who love her are left with far more questions than answers, and a single strange clue that suggests her disappearance is anything but ordinary.
