About To Your Eternity
To Your Eternity, known in Japan as Fumetsu no Anata e, adapts Yoshitoki Oima's acclaimed manga into a quietly devastating fantasy. The story follows a mysterious orb sent to the world that can take the shape of anything it observes. It begins as a stone, then moss, then a wolf, before finally becoming a boy and setting out across an unfamiliar land. The being is named Fushi, and at the start it cannot speak, feel, or understand the world around it.
Fushi learns to be alive by meeting people, copying their forms, and carrying their memories forward. Each companion teaches Fushi something new about kindness, courage, joy, and the weight of attachment. The series moves through distinct arcs and locations, from a frozen northern village to a lively island and a walled town, each introducing characters whose lives leave a lasting mark on the immortal traveler. Over time Fushi grows from a blank vessel into a thoughtful protector who chooses to fight for the world it has come to love.
Across two seasons and forty episodes the show balances gentle wonder with the recurring theme of impermanence, treating its emotional moments with sincerity rather than spectacle. The first season covers Fushi's earliest journeys and the bonds that shape its character, while the second season expands the world and raises the stakes as a recurring antagonistic force tests everything Fushi has gathered. The result is a thoughtful meditation on growth, memory, and what it means to keep going.
